Abstract
The design, fabrication, testing, and analysis of a new broadband rect angular microstrip antenna element resonating at 7.200 GHz is introduc ed and discussed. Measured data on the performance characteristics of the new antenna element are presented and compared with the characteri stics of a conventional microstrip antenna element having the same dim ensions.
