Magnetic sublevel partial differential cross sections for excitation o
f the Ba(...6s6p 6(1)P1) level are presented based upon the differenti
al cross section measurements of Jensen et al and Wang et al in combin
ation with new electron impact coherence parameter measurements and el
ectron impact coherence parameter measurements previously reported by
Zetner and Li. These partial differential cross sections, determined f
or electron impact energies of E0 = 10, 20, 37, 50 and 80 eV, are comp
ared with available theory.
