Abstract
The total pressure of binary mixtures obtained by dissolving one of th e two acetylacetonates of chromium and iron in dimethylformamide (DMF) have been measured at temperatures from 70 to 115 degrees C. In addit ion, the solubility of each acetylacetonate in DMF and in binary mixtu res of organic solvents has been measured at 25 degrees C and in the w hole range of the solvent composition. The two sets of experimental da ta have been correlated using a model which accounts quantitatively fo r the deviation of the solution from the ideal behaviour.
