Abstract
Pathways are considered for the synthesis of polyglutamic acid bonded to various dyes, including 7-amino- and 7-hydroxycumarines, safranine T, and carbocyanines. The highest content of dyes is achieved upon the immobilization of carbocyanines. All the synthesized compounds are ca pable of forming colored monomolecular Langmuir-Blodgett films.
