Abstract
IR spectra of carbon dioxide dissolved in PMMA were measured. Molecula r and energetic characteristics and the data on the physical states of the components of a solid polymer solution during the sorption of gas were derived on the basis of analysis of the shape of the absorption band in the 2300 - 2400 cm-1 range. The model describing the structure of such solid solution is discussed.
