Abstract
Antigens are usually poorly immunogenic when administered orally or in tranasally and a variety of approaches have been designed to overcome this problem. Recently, the progress of six projects involving 24 labo ratories funded by the 'Human and Veterinary Vaccines' section of the EC-Biotechnology programme were discussed at a meeting in Luxembourg.
