Abstract
The Gene Regulation Database (GRBase) is a compendium of information o n the structure and function of proteins involved in the control of ge ne expression in eukaryotes. These proteins include transcription fact ors, proteins involved in signal transduction, and receptors. The data base can be obtained by FTP in Filemaker Pro, text, and postscript for mats. The database will be expanded in the coming year to include revi ews on families of proteins involved in gene regulation and to allow o nline searching.
