Abstract
The H-1 and C-13 NMR spectra of the deoxyhemigossypol derivatives 4-is opropyl-2,3-dimethoxy-6-methylnaphthalene, -isopropyl-2,3-dimethoxy-6- methyl-1-naphthaldehyde and ,3-dihydroxy-4-isopropyl-6-methyl-1-naphth aldehyde were assigned using one- and two-dimensional NMR techniques, including DEFT, H-1 NOE and H-1-C-13 HETCORR spectroscopy.
