Abstract
Unidirectional and cross-ply epoxy resin composites have been made usi ng both untreated and plasma treated melt-spun and gel-spun high-modul us polyethylene fibres. Interlaminar shear strength adhesion measureme nts have been related to high speed flexural strength and impact energ y absorption.
