Abstract
Alkylidene malonate substituted eta(4)-(1,3-butadienyl)iron(tricarbony l) complexes 4 and 10 undergo highly diastereoselective 1,4-addition r eactions with various nucleophiles, including Grignard reagents, organ olithium reagents, ketene silyl acetal 14 and allyltributylstannane.
