Abstract
We found that interferon-alpha produced by human leukocytes contained four subtypes that were glycosylated by N-linkages according to the re sults of lectin blot analysis. These glycosylated subtypes were type H or type omega and thei sugar moieties had no relation to their biolog ical activities.
