An approach to the analysis of electronic circuits in the time domain
is proposed which enables the unsteady modes of operation to be calcul
ated using a modified method for solving the system of nonlinear integ
ro-differential equations of the ''three-node expansion.'' The solutio
n is used to derive time dependences of the potentials at all points o
f the circuit. An example of the use of this approach to calculate the
transients in a Schottky-gate field-effect transistor switching circu
it is considered.
