Abstract
The standard molar enthalpies of solution of BaZrO3(s) and SrZrO3(s) h ave been measured in (0.5 mol.dm-3 HF + 6.4 mol.dm-3 HNO3)(aq). From t he results the standard molar enthalpies of formation of BaZrO3(s) and SrZrO3(s) have been calculated: -(1762.9+/-3.7) kJ.mol-1 and -(1763.5 +/-3.3) kJ.mol-1, respectively.
