Abstract
A study has been made of certain features of the radical copolymerizat ion of allylammonium salts (AAM) and N-vinylpyrrolidone (VP) in aqueou s and alcoholic solutions. The process rate is appreciably influenced by the nature of the counterion. The rate decreases in the series Cl- > CH3COO- > PO4(3-) and with increase of AAM content in the presence o f 2,2-azobis(2-amidinyl-propane) dichloride.
