Abstract
Results are presented from a theoretical and experimental investigatio n of the decomposition of ammonia in the presence of fluorides. It has been demonstrated that the presence of hydrogen fluoride lowers the d egree of spontaneous decomposition. A significant effect of catalysts upon the process has been noted.
