Abstract
We investigated the dependence of the coercive force of white and gray cast iron on temperature. The article shows that the dependence H(c)( T) of gray cast iron differs considerably from the analogous dependenc e of chilled cast iron. The different nature of the investigated depen dences involves a substantial difference in the coercive force of whit e and gray cast iron at temperatures of 100-160-degrees-C.
