Abstract
A three-dimensional power combiner consisting of four oscillator grids stacked in parallel is presented. The 5-GHZ quadruple grid oscillator delivers an effective radiated power 6.5 dB greater than that of a si ngle grid, with a corresponding frequency shift of less than 5%. Compa risons are made between a single, double, and quadruple grid oscillato r.
