Abstract
A well mixed recirculating indoor channel was adopted to investigate a erobic heterotrophic biodegradation in drainage systems with suspended and attached biomass. The focused points include microbial activity a nd intrinsic kinetics of the liquid and biofilm, and the process kinet ics. The linkage between reactor performance and the characteristics o f biomass population was noticed.
