Abstract
A new adduct of C60 with alpha,alpha'-Azoisobutyronitrile has been syn thesised and characterized by H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, FTIR, UV-vis, EI Mass Spectrum and Cyclic Voltammetry Spectrum. The Langmuir trough study o f this adduct indicates that the introduction of the hydrophilic group s can reduce the molecular aggregation at the air-water interface.
