Ar. Pach et al., OVERLOAD PERFORMANCE OF DQDB NETWORKS IN PRESENCE OF ERASURE NODES AND BWB MECHANISM, Electronics Letters, 30(19), 1994, pp. 1576-1578
Erasure nodes are special devices that have been conceived to improve
the throughput of DQDB networks, They achieve this by releasing slots
containing segments which have passed through all their destinations.
The authors discuss the overload performance of a network with erasure
nodes and the standard BWB mechanism enabled, when alternative erasur
e node protocols are considered.
