UNSTEADY VIBRATIONS OF AN ELASTIC MEDIUM BOUNDED BY 2 ECCENTRIC SPHERICAL SURFACES

The axisymmetric problem of the propagation of unsteady waves in an el astic medium bounded by spherical surfaces with offset centres is cons idered. The problem of the propagation of waves in continuous media bo unded by surfaces of different coordinate systems has been investigate d fairly fully mainly in the steady-state formulation [1]. Some unstea dy problems for a half-space with spherical inclusions were investigat ed in [2, 3].
