Abstract
A mechanical sweep method is formulated. Using the calculation of the non-linear deformation of a cylindrical panel as an example, an algori thm is developed that transfers the boundary conditions expressed in t erms of mechanical parameters over the elements into which the panel i s decomposed. The validity of the algorithm is confirmed by the agreem ent between numerical results and experimental data.
