Abstract
We report a simple and rapid method for DNA preparation suitable for P CR by microwave irradiation When mouse,whole blood and hair shafts wer e directly irradiated and subjected to PCR, a unique gene such as the retinoblastoma susceptibility gene was reproducibly amplified. This me thod was useful for screening a transgene sequence in transgenic mice.
