Abstract
The paper lists and characterizes in more detail most important ecolog ical factors in frequently occurring vegetation types in an inundation area of the Morava river:the water table dynamics, mechanical soil pr operties, influence of human activities. Data on changes of water tabl e are presented, these were obtained in 1992 at two sites (Vyoska pri Morave - S, Male Levare - NW) within the inundation area of the Morava in representative plant communities: 1. Rorippa amphibia-Oenanthe aqu atica, 2. Chenopodium polyspermum-Bidens tripartita, 3. Schoenoplectus lacustris, 4. Glyceria maxima, 5. Carex gracillis, 6. Phragmites aust ralis, 7. Potentilla anserina-Ranunculus repens, 8. Cnidium dubium-Alo pecurus pratensis, 9. Festuca nigrescens, 10. Populus nigra. The soil texture was also analysed. The most important human activities which a ffect the structure of vegetation are pointed out.
