Abstract
The magnetic field effect of the a(8)S(1/2)-z(8)P(9/2), F = 7 transiti on lines of Eu-151 in magnetic fields up to 400 Gauss has been studied by using laser-atomic-beam-spectroscopy. Delta F = 2-6 transitions we re observed. Results show that the transitions originate from the mixi ng of the Zeeman states induced by the magnetic field. The condition f avourable to observation of the \Delta F\ greater than or equal to 2 t ransitions especially the transitions with high \Delta F\ values discu ssed.
