A 59 year-old male with a toxic syndrome an a pancreatic pseudotumoral
mass. Two pancreatic fine needle aspiration cytologies were negative.
Liver and pancreatic surgical biopsies showed a chronic granulomatous
tuberculous inflammation. Mycobacterium tuberculosis was isolated in
the gastric juice; the urine and sputum cultures was negative. Tubercu
lostatic treatment with Rifampicin, Isoniazid and Ethambutol was effec
tive. We emphasize the importance of the histological diagnosis in all
of pancreatic mass.
