Abstract
Bleeding from gastric varices is an uncommon condition for which hemos tatic control is difficult and ill defined. Most clinicians tend to ac hieve hemostasis by endoscopic treatment because of the prevailing poo r general condition of these patients. A case of fundal perforation fo llowing excessive injection sclerotherapy is reported and possible mec hanism discussed.
