G. Pelosi et al., A PERTURBATIVE APPROACH TO THE SCATTERING FROM A PERFECTLY CONDUCTINGWEDGE WITH A CRACK OR GAP IN ONE OF ITS FACES, Microwave and optical technology letters, 7(14), 1994, pp. 667-670
A perturbative solution is described for determining the field scatter
ed by a perfectly conducting wedge with a crack or gap in one of its f
aces. The wedge is illuminated by a plane wave perpendicularly inciden
t on its edge. The gap aperture is modeled by an equivalent surface im
pedance strip. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the appl
icability of this perturbative technique. (C) 1994 John Wiley & Sons,
