Abstract
In hydrophilic polymers, water partially crystallizes below 0 degrees C only if its concentration is greater than a critical value, C. When crystallization occurs, the glass transition, T-g, of the polymer sol vent matrix remains constant. This T-g regulation effect and the C va lue is explained.
