Abstract
1-(2,4,6-Tri-t-butylphenyl)-1-phosphaallene reacted with dichlorocarbe ne to give thylene-1-(2,4,6-tri-t-butylphenyl)-1-phosphirane. The stru cture was confirmed by X-ray crystal structure analysis. A similar iso merization product was obtained in the reaction of dichlorocarbene wit h henyl-1-(2,4,6-tri-t-butylphenyl)-1-phosphaallene.
