Abstract
Nucleophilic cleavage by potassium t-butoxide on hexaphenyl digermanes , distannanes, and diplumbanes, in N,N'-dimethylpropyleneurea (DMPU) s olvent, provides a facile method for preparation of triphenyl germyl, stannyl, and plumbyl anions.
