Abstract
The paper reports h(E) values at 298.15 K and upsilon(E) and deltaeta values at various temperatures for binary mixtures of propyl or butyl benzoate and n-heptane. The excess Gibbs energy of viscous flow, DELTA gE, and the thermodynamic activation properties were calculated from these values. The results are compared with those for similar mixtures and interpreted on the basis of the characteristic dipole-dipole inte ractions of alkyl esters.
