Ba. Kalin et Iv. Reutov, THE INFLUENCE OF CARBON CONCENTRATION ON THE LOOP GROWTH IN HELIUM DOPED NICKEL, Journal of nuclear materials, 215, 1994, pp. 212-215
By transmission electron microscopy (TEM) the defect structure was inv
estigated in Ni-C alloys, irradiated by alpha-particles (E = 29 MeV) a
nd neutrons (E > 0.1 MeV) at T < 100 degrees C. The investigation of d
efect structure evolution was conducted in irradiated Ni-0.002% C, Ni-
0.007% C, Ni-0.01% C and Ni-0.039% C alloys at isochronal (T = 200-100
0 degrees C) and isothermal annealings at 500 degrees C (0.5, 3, 8, 13
, 25 h) and 600 degrees C (0.5, 1, 2 h). The influence of carbon conce
ntration was found on the dislocation structure change during annealin
g. The doped helium increases the thermal stability of dislocation loo
ps.
