Abstract
A set of dimensionless equations are presented to describe the release of a drug from a coated pure drug bead in a well stirred elution liqu id. Dimensionless presentations for cumulative release and release rat e over very wide ranges of dimensionless parameters are discussed. The work is presented in two parts, part 1 describing the analysis and pa rt 2 the experiment.
