Abstract
Resonance-Enhanced Multi-Photon Ionization (REMPI) with W-laser radiat ion offers the possibility of species selective ionization. The combin ation of REMPI and time-of-flight mass spectrometry (resonance-enhance d laser mass spectrometry or LAMS) represents a useful tool for select ive detection of trace quantities of organic compounds out of complex matrices.
