Abstract
An experimental investigation was made of the polarization and frequen cy characteristics of a monolithic ring YAG:Nd3+ chip laser. Varying o f the orientation of an external magnetic field relative to the active element made it possible to alter discretely the emission frequency o f the chip laser and the polarization of output radiation.
