Vi. Odintsov et Ey. Sokolova, WIDENING OF THE REGION OF COHERENT INTERA CTION OF INTERSECTING BROAD-BAND OPTICAL BEAMS, Kvantovaa elektronika, 21(8), 1994, pp. 778-780
It is shown theoretically that the region of coherent interaction of i
ntersecting broad-band optical beams can be greatly widened by tilting
the coherence layers as a result of spectral dispersion with the aid
of a prism or a diffraction grating. The theoretical predictions were
confirmed by experiments in which interference fringes were observed f
or broadband radiation, including the case when the interference invol
ved ''white'' light.
