Abstract
Three patients with cervical carcinoma underwent laparoscopic descendi ng colostomy. The indications for colostomy included severe radiation proctitis, enterovaginal fistula secondary to progressive pelvic tumor , and large bowel obstruction from progressive pelvic tumor. Two patie nts were treated with laparoscopic descending end colostomy with creat ion of a Hartman's pouch, and the third patient underwent laparoscopic descending loop colostomy.
