Abstract
A Green function renormalization analysis is applied to some diffusion /adsorption kinetics on fractal substrates. We develop a renormalizati on analysis of adsorption and two-phase (fluid-solid) transfer and ads orption kinetics in the presence of energetic heterogeneity. Two parti cular examples are considered: (a) adsorption on the line in the prese nce of spatially homogeneous randomness in the adsorption energies, an d (b) adsorption on a fractal structure in which the adsorption sites are localized on a fractal submanifold.
