Abstract
A probe was designed to evaluate coatings used under thermal insulatio n for temperatures of 30 to 150-degrees-C. This article describes the results obtained with various combinations of coatings (aluminum silic one, inorganic zinc, and aluminum metallizing) and thermal insulators (mineral wool, fiber glass, and calcium silicate), which were recommen ded in NACE Publication 6H189.
