Abstract
Xe-129 NMR of adsorbed xenon is shown to be useful for studying proper ties of zeolites and related materials such as pore structure (pore di mensions, pore geometry, defects, intergrowth, etc.), multicharged cat ions (compensating cations or extraframework aluminum, etc.), and encu mbering species (coadsorbed phases, coke deposits, etc.). The techniqu e has been extended to the study of microporous polymers.
