Abstract
This report concerns the breeding of so-called forest pigs - crosses b etween wild boar and colored domestic pigs - for enclosure keeping. Re sults from the Gussing Estate in Austria which has been breeding fores t pigs for 15 years are presented. Since 1989 similar breeding program s have been operating in the enclosures in Kosetice and Hnusta in form er Czechoslovakia. Various methods of breeding and domestic keeping ar e presented.
