Abstract
LDPE/PA6 binary blends and LDPE/PA6/g-LDPE ternary blends have been pr epared in a Brabender extruder, equipped with a static mixer of specia l design. LDPEs grafted with methacrylic acid or maleic anhydride were used as compatibilizers. Compatibility of the components was estimate d by measuring their surface roughness, rheological properties, water absorption and by observation of their morphology structure. It was st ated that properties depend on the recipe composition of the polymer b lends and the conditions of their manufacturing.
