Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety o f the anthelmintic combination from the cestocide epsiprantel (5,5 mg/ kg bodyweight) and the nematocide pyrantel pamoate (5 mg pyrantelbase/ kg bodyweight) in comparison to the broad-spectrum anthelmintic nitros canate. 96 dogs of various breed, age and sex with tapeworms, hookworm s and roundworms were treated with epsiprantel/pyrantel pamoate. The s ingle administration of epsiprantel/pyrantel pamoate was found to be a practicable and efficient method of anthelmintic therapy
