Temperature-dependent curves of internal friction (TDIF) and modulus o
f elasticity (TDME) and the kinetics of the martensite transformation
in Fe-Ni and Fe-24Ni-5Mo alloys with different carbon content have bee
n investigated. The influences of chemical composition and preliminary
heat treatment regimes on isothermal and athermal transformation and
martensite decay due to heating were established.
