Abstract
A 15-mer oligodeoxyribonucleotide was found to be efficient toward the Friend retrovirus only when modified. or encapsulated in liposomes. T he nonmodified oligomer was inefficient. We have measured the intracel lular stability of this 15-mer when encapsulated or modified and we ha ve observed a direct relationship between the intracellular stability of the oligonucleotides and their antiretroviral efficiency.
