Radical anions of alkyl alpha-oxocarbothioates and alpha-oxocarbodithi
oates are generated by in situ electroreduction. Their spin density di
stribution and configuration are discussed in terms of the ESR spectra
and semi-empirical (McLachlan-type and AM1) MO calculations.
