The structure of Cd-122 was investigated using the Cd-111(n(th),gamma)
and Pd-110(alpha,2n) reactions. High resolution crystal and magnetic
spectrometers as well as different Compton-suppressed spectrometers we
re used. The results were combined with published data resulting in a
complete level scheme over a large range of spins and excitation energ
ies. The interpretation of the data was performed in the framework of
the interacting boson model (IBM). A special effort was put in the int
erpretation of E0 data and an attempt was made to identify multiphonon
and 2(1)(+) x 3(1)(-) states.
