Abstract
Optical instabilities and chaos due to virtual formation of biexcitons in optically excited semiconductors are investigated. A complete line ar stability analysis of steady-state bistable solutions of nonlinear coupled differential equations describing the nonlinear dynamics of se miconductors is carried out. The dynamical solutions are studied numer ically using an iterative procedure.
