Abstract
There is a wide class of multidimensional cosmological models, other t han the Bianchi IX model (a mixmaster universe), which have the proper ty of being stochastic. A criterion for the occurrence of a stochastic behavior is proposed for various models. (C) 1994 American Institute of Physics.
